Insecurities: Finally in love ❤️

 


   Every beginning will definitely have an end. October is gradually saying its goodbyes and what better way to send it off than writing a beautiful piece to brighten up someone's mood?

Yeah right, hey beautiful soul! 😍 

I hope you have read the last post on "Insecurities: defining your identity". 

Oh, you haven't? Pls, go back and have an enjoyable read. If you had, thank you.  I hope it made you feel better .

   Moving forward, absolutely no one can make you feel secure as yourself. It is all about accepting yourself, lavishing yourself with love and investing so much in yourself in order to become the person you want to be. 


      Overcoming your insecurities ushers you into a phase of self-discovery where you get to know more about YOU. You will be amazed of how much potentials embodied in you. 


You have not even started to scratch the surface of your wholesomeness. You have not started digging the well of your greatness. Just so much in you wasting away because you are wallowing in self-pity instead of building your self-esteem.


Get into your active mood and stop dulling your vibrant spirit. It's absolutely alright to have moments of doubts and down-times. But let your driving force be YOU and not what others think or feel. Be yourself unapologetically. Your self- confidence attracts others to get to know what value you have to offer. 

Here are few practical tips you can utilise as a young person to overcome fears and insecurities 

1. Invest in yourself by learning skills, studying, volunteering and participating socially, politically, spiritually etc. This gives you value and subconsciously pumps your self-esteem to stand up for yourself and others

2. Practice good hygiene. Smell nice, eat well and dress nice. This helps to give you a good feel about yourself anyday and anytime 

3. Meditate often:-This involves you creating moments where you give your thoughts clarity, push out negative thoughts and define your goals. It gives you a form of direction, focus and consciousness. 

4. Treat yourself right and have ME- moments. The way others treat you is largely influenced by how you treat yourself. Don't put yourself on the ground for others to step on. You can be humble yet upholding your self esteem. Go to the park, buy yourself nice things you desire etc.

5. Train your mind by affirming positive statements daily. Have the 'I-can- do" spirit. Have a mindset of success, perseverance and resilience. Don't fall and falter at the first blow of failure. Failure is not fatal. 

6. Surround yourself with good friends and people. Repel bad energy and stay away from people that keep putting you down. Have a inner circle of friends that stand by you, encourage you and push you to be better. Guard your peace diligently ❤️
