BIG WINS, SMALL WINS

  Tik tok, tik tok, tik tok.... The clock ticks and with every passing second, we take a step further to fulfilling those visions, goals and resolutions written in our diaries, notebooks, stick notes etc.


   Just like me, I am sure the beginning of this year felt like being given a book with empty and clean pages. Another chance to rewrite our stories, erase unpleasant pasts, tear up pages of hurts, create beautiful memories, document  our wins, put together missing pieces, highlight strategies and ultimately, make God the author of the story. After all, we are nothing but pencils in the hands of our Creator.


 
      Yeah, we never saw all we experienced from the beginning of the year to this moment coming. As myopic beings, we couldn't even predict what could happen the next moment. We live in FAITH; hoping for the evidence of things not seen and believing in better times that are yet to come.



   Seconds became minutes, minutes became hours, hours became days and finally, days of a whole year are gradually coming to end. Only one thing fills my heart:- GRATITUDE ❤️
Grateful for every big win and small win 🌹



      Let's go down the memory lane, Sweet dreamers. We started this journey reminding ourselves that WE ARE NOT ALONE; irrespective of what life throws at us, we won't stop pursuing our dreams of making impact. Then, we discovered our SS CHAMPIONS; people we could lean on when the tough gets going and the going gets tough. What are we without HEALTHY FRIENDSHIPS? :- a place of acceptance and willingness to support each other no matter what.




        Definitely, we can never forget the 'DEMANDS AND SUPPLIES OF LIFE'; exploring  the opportunities and goodies life has to offer and making the best out of it despite the setbacks and fears. Then, we charged our minds with  POSITIVE AFFIRMATIONS; knowing fully well that our actions and will to push through life's  challenges are fuelled by the  power of the mind. 



       And just when it seemed like we have come to the end of the road, we saw light ahead and we were motivated to STRIVE in order to THRIVE ; the S makes the difference afterall.  And just when it seemed like we were DRIFTING AWAY FROM CONSCIOUSNESS; we got a wake up call to  keep our eyes fixed on the prize ahead.



      As we transited from one phase to another, we felt the need to identify and admit our INSECURITIES and DEFINE OUR IDENTITIES ; knowing fully well now that we are not defined by our imperfections. Come on!!! Can you see that jacket she is putting on? It is branded CONFIDENCE!!!



         As we live each day with so much vigour as young chaps, aspiring to be all we ever dreamt of, we had FAINTING MOMENTS ; but here we are, better and stronger with broad smiles on our faces for not giving up.


 
          Finally, at some point we had to make some CHOICES  not minding the CONSEQUENCES ; sometimes we make good choices or bad choices for a reason that seems to make sense at that point. However, we know better now. We are definitely making better decisions guided by God's wisdom. We should always remember that the seeds of our present actions or choices will bear fruits of results or consequences in nearest future.


     For me, connecting with you is no small win. It is one of my biggest wins this year. It's been a rollercoaster with exciting times and downtimes.

   "Don't ever say you can't. If you can think it,  then you can be it . Underestimating yourself is a bad habit. You are more than capable!!!

     What a long read ❤️. It has been a journey indeed. 5 months of unlearning, learning and relearning. 5 months of sharing a piece of my heart with you, Sweet dreamers. Your support, honest feedbacks, shares, encouragements , inputs and love made the journey a whole lot easier.

    Happy New Month, Sweet dreamers!! October is here and I am excited to make the best out of it. Every moment of our existence should count. So, I hope that writing this piece counts by warming your hearts and rejuvenating you back to reality.        Speaking of coming back to reality, have you ever drifted away subconsciously and then you become unaware of your environment such that it takes a jerk or alert from someone else to bring you back to reality.
