2025 Wrapped - Quiet Beginnings.

Beginnings may not always be loud.

Sometimes, they are calm, steady, and intentional.

Hey, my 2025 Stars ❤️✨

How are you doing?

Are you already preparing for crossover nights?

Making new year plans?

Writing resolutions and vision boards?

But before all that…

Have you counted your blessings yet ?

Lately, I’ve been enjoying this trend where people share what they are grateful for in 2025 and beyond. And beyond being just a trend, I see something deeper — intentionality and accountability. You might not need to set up a ring light for yours, but we definitely all have reasons to be grateful for 2025.

Dear Stars, this is God’s will for you:

Regardless of what 2025 brought — triumph or trial, gain or loss — choose thankfulness. When you align with God’s will in this area, you position yourself for blessing in every other area.

Today, practice "in everything” gratitude.

Not just for the good times, but for the hard ones too.

Now… speaking of which, if my 2025 wrap was a movie, would I love to watch it again?

1… 2… 3… Action! 🎬

The Director handed me a script — but I wasn’t prepared for every scene. I didn’t know what the next page would look like. I simply chose to trust Him completely — blindly and unfailingly.

The opening scene began with me hugging my family members after shouting "Happy New Year!” at exactly 12:00 a.m. With my notepad filled with resolutions, dos and don’ts, and areas I wanted to improve, I told myself confidently, “2025 is definitely my year.”

There were slow days and fast days.

Days when the lights were bright, and days when they were completely off.

Yet, I couldn’t leave the set — no matter what.

I kept showing up even when there was no applause behind the cameras. Even when it felt like no one was watching.

There were scenes of love and betrayal, hope and loss, failures and wins, pain and victory. And what I eventually realized was this: the storyline would have been incomplete without every single scene. One had to happen for the next to make sense.

It was a journey that had to be completed.

And there were lessons waiting in every frame.

On set, I met some truly amazing actors and actresses. Some scenes are memories that live rent-free in my head because of these people — and I’m deeply grateful for them.

Were there scenes I wished I could delete?

Yessssssssss 😭

Some scenes were scary. Some were uncomfortable. Some stretched me beyond what I thought I could handle.

There were also days when I wasn’t the main character — days spent behind the scenes, celebrating others. And that didn’t make me unseen or unheard. Instead, it became repositioning for growth and learning.  Honestly, this became one of my favourite parts: platforms that allowed me to learn from others.

There were many plot twists that kept me hooked.

But let’s be honest — the painful part was that romance didn’t make it into the script… not even as comic relief 😅

(My fellow single Stars, please say hiiiii 😂)

On a lighter note, the climax of the movie is this:

I am proud of myself — despite everything.

This year, as a medical student, I did a thing.

I explored writing and discovered new versions of myself.

I worked on Naive Hearts— an ongoing novel for young adults and teens.

And I launched Quiet Beginnings — a reflection journal for gentle growth and becoming.

I call them my 2025 babies.

I poured my heart into each project.

Truly, better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof. Good things still happen — even at the very end.

And gradually, the movie is coming to an end…

In less than 24 hours.

I’m grateful because I had the best Director— One who wrote the script and never left the scene. One who stayed behind the scenes, quietly working everything out.

Cut! 🎬

Movie duration:

1 year.

365 days.

52 weeks.

Countless moments.

Thank you, Jesus🥺❤️
